Why did we change our name?

That’s a good question, thanks for asking! When we began taking pictures for a living (back in 2012), we didn’t really know where to focus our attention. We wondered if we should try offering everything to our clients or be more selective. We didn’t want to be too picky at first because we really like the variety of work you can do as photographers. So we decided to split our work into two different brands. Adam + Amber Photography was to focus on “family photography” (weddings, seniors, and pets) typical wedding photographer stuff and 360 Photo & Design would focus on “commercial photography” (virtual tours, architecture, and products).

That split approach worked for a while, but as a business grows, you realize you can’t specialize in everything. We needed to “niche down” as it were. We still love taking pictures of people and will shoot the occasional wedding or family session, but our days of calling ourselves “wedding photographers” has come to an end.

If you found this page and are still looking for help, give us a call. We have made lots of friends in the wedding industry and would be happy to point you in the right direction. 🙂

Portrait Photography is more than just capturing a picture of somebody. It’s an artistic representation of a person’s personality. To highlight who they are at that moment and preserving it forever. It’s more than a quick snapshot of something you stumbled upon. It requires planning, coaching, and a vision of the final image.

Here are some examples of our work:

Capturing a wedding is a serious responsibility. It is more than just one thing, but combines Event photography, Product photos, Portrait sessions, and more. It’s a marathon and emotional roller coaster all rolled into one! Because of the commercial photography work we do, we are only shooting a few weddings a year to people we really connect with. Let’s chat to see if we’re a good fit.

An Engagement Photo Session is a portrait session for you and your future spouse. These can be for a specific purpose, like a Save-The-Date card, to be displayed at your wedding reception, or for your wedding website. Other times it’s just a good opportunity to have professional photographs taken of the two of you during this time in your relationship. To chronicle that moment in time. It’s also a great way to get more comfortable being on camera. Like a rehearsal for you wedding day photos.

Senior portraits are about celebrating a life stage – for many teens, their entire senior year is filled with milestones, and it is definitely one worth noting and celebrating in many ways, including portraiture. Documenting that with professional photography is one way of ensuring that you never forget who they are, RIGHT now.

A family session goal is to capture the personality of your family. We want to know who you are so we can tailor your portrait session to create beautiful images of your family which can be proudly displayed on the walls of your home. Family portraits are about family and the best way to capture great images is to work in a comfortable environment. We do almost all of our work on location utilizing natural light as often as possible.
